I heard from a mother this week that someone was selling their milk on Craigslist. Then just this morning I was admiring the 5 mo old baby of our worship leader at church and found out that mom had stopped breastfeeding, had not seemed to like it. Baby opened his mouth and I could clearly see the tongue restriction, so I know why mom didn't last. But then dad told me, "but we found a wet-nurse and my wife is buying her milk..." so I came home, got on my local craig's list, and I just found a listing for a military mom selling her milk for $1.50/oz.
How rampant is this? It's illegal!
