Psychologists call it confirmation bias.  We all suffer from it, even
scientists.  Remember cold fusion?

To your 50 year comment... true, however we have not used the high-power,
systemic pesticides until recently.  Could it be that the pieces of the
puzzle have just come together in CCD?
