I am a new IBCLC. As a La Leche League leader I have not done much
education on formula preparation. However, I recently made a house call as
an IBCLC to a mother with low supply who was supplementing with formula and
not preparing the formula according to WHO guidelines. In light of the
recent infant deaths possibly related to formula preparations, does anyone
here provide guidelines or handouts to their clients and if, yes what do
you use?
Thanks!
Ginger Chun, LLLL, IBCLC
