Years ago, when Prolacta was only a year old, I recommended to both our Ross and Mead Johnson salesmen that they buy Prolacta, make it more efficient and bring down the price.  It would be a smart business move for either company.  We need human milk fortifier made from human milk - but at $6/mL - very few NICUs can afford it.  With most patients on a per diem fee, we eat the cost of HMBANA donor milk as it is.
