Yes, I concur with the mention in previous posts of the struggle to make
even a small income from private practice as a lactation consultant. This
has been my experience in the 26 years I have been certified. I've always
had to have other work to generate an income to life, and to support my LC
work. I know this is the case for many of us, at least in some areas.
However, I'm still doing it and I love what I do. I also love that this is a
profession in which we are always learning.
I'm going *nomail* because of pressure of work. Please send any messages to
me privately.
