Hi Mary!  Somehow you need to go to that meeting with a coalition of support, don't go alone!   
Try to portray finger feeding as easy, the skin of the finger is closer to the feel of the breast in a baby's mouth, and it is slower, which is a good thing. 
Good luck!  It looks like you are being called to a meeting that has already reached a conclusion.  this might by difficult.
