Of course it's great that after 6 years, AAP has
caught up with the science and politics regarding
breastfeeding.
However, even though the first sentence of the
abstract says "Breastfeeding and human milk are
the normative standards for infant feeding and
nutrition", the rest of the document -- starting
with the very next sentence -- consistently says
just the opposite! ie, by using the LANGUAGE of
bottle/formula-feeding as the norm, which
breastfeeding has "advantages" over. :-(
