No, I suspect that the belief about the Medela Classic vs the Lactina that used to exist (quite some years ago, but very firmly held if you look at the archives) was mostly about what the pump salespeople were telling lactation consultants. That's why I ask about what the evidence is for particular pumps being better than other pumps.

So, could the differences in observations about pump use be due to the greater reliance on pumps and less massage while pumping?
