Domperidone has prescription status in Canada and other foreign countries.
One can legally obtain prescription products from other countries based on a prescription for it.
The US Supreme Court has ruled that pharmacists can compound prescriptions that are not available in the US based upon a prescription.
FDA, at times, has acted against compounding pharmacists who have compounded domperidone to be used as a galactogogue.
I and many other pharmacists and health care professionals believe that the FDA has used faulty data to do so.
My take, and I am a pharmacist and not a lawyer, is that compounding pharmacists can legally compound domperidone prescriptions.
Although I do now work for the FDA, the opinion I have expressed is entirely mine and does not represent the FDA in any manner.
