Hi Christine,
This is a practice our hospital participates in and defends... and it drives me nuts! The company (Our 365) WAS selling information to formula companies for marketing purposes until they were "discovered"...and LactNet seemed to assist in uncovering the scheme (YAY!). They have since stopped the practice of selling addresses. The sessions do last a long time, interfere with breastfeeding on cue, bonding time, and the few precious minutes we have for breastfeeding education. I have been told there is nothing we can do about it because "parents want pictures"! I am feeling your frustration. If you find a solution, please let me know. Good luck!
