It's been quite a while since I last ranted and raved on Lactnet about pump companies who included HIV on their list of things one might contract from a used pump. Please tell me pump companies aren't still telling people HIV can be transmitted via a used pump!

From the CDC:

"drying of HIV- infected human blood or other body fluids reduces the theoretical risk of environmental transmission to that which has been observed--essentially zero."
