I am seeking scientific evidence regarding using donor human milk for the term healthy infant. I know there is good research for the preterm infant but my physician partners are not in agreement that the benefits are the same for the term healthy infant. I am aware of the exclusive breastfeeding benefits and the statement in the Breastfeeding Task Forces recommendation that we use human milk, then donor milk and formula as the last choice. Can anyone assist me?
