Saw info online from Medela re Paula Meier research using Symphony Premie card (program) reportedly published in Journal of Perinatology. Could not find what I was looking for. Apparently using a specific sucking pattern unique to newborns (as opposed to patterns of 1-2 wk old infants) yielded quite a bit more milk for moms of premies. Nowhere could I find what that unique pattern was. For mothers who do not / cannot use a Symphony pump, it would be helpful to know how to mimic that unique pattern. Does anyone have info?
