I am SOOOO delighted that Lactnet is still around! I haven't been on the list in a while and have a question.
I am returning to teaching childbirth education and breastfeeding classes in a hospital setting. While I am not a nurse, I am certified as a childbirth educator, I am not sure what sort of credentialing there is to teach breastfeeding. I was an LLLLeader for 15 years and have taught for a HMO before, so I have experience. I have done the programs the TX Dept of Health had/have (phase 1 and phase 2). Surely there is something for those of us who want to teach but don't want to be an IBCLC. Please, I need suggestions.
Thank you in advance,
Kerri Bundy
