In addition to the other lovely suggestions to help this dyad (CST,
co-bedding, baby wearing) suggest that the mother learn to massage her
baby. Lavender essential oil in the baby's bath might be calming. Or find a
local homeopath for the right remedy.
As for Arabic handouts, I offer 2 free ones. Go to <www.phila.gov>. In the
upper right hand corner, select Public Health from the drop-down menu of
City departments. In the center of the page will be "breastfeeding
support". Click on that link, and scroll down for 2 different promotional
brochures.
