Pardon me, what a terrible comparison. Seriously?! I'm sure this is an
April Fools.
I wouldn't in my wildest dreams consider practicing as a less competent LC
for fear that I would work myself out of a job, or in any other capacity for
that matter. It is truly in being *more* competent that we work ourselves
out of a job, and that is the goal. My dream is that we all would live in a
culture that promotes and protects breastfeeding (amongst other things).
When the cultural revolution I envision happens, there won't be much need
for someone like me, at least not in the capacity that I'm currently
functioning, and I'll gladly seek other employment.
