Great advice here. If mom is overwhelmed by the idea of cutting dairy out,
practical dietary subs would be a great discussion to have. Eg, coconut
milk and oil are great subs for dairy in some applications and will add back
the fat that she is used to getting via dairy sources.
But if she's unwilling to try, so be it...the real shame is if bfeeding is
lost/difficult to resume after two weeks and baby ends up not dx with a CMA.
