Phillips Avent is indeed violating the Code. Their products fall within the scope of the Code and a quick look at their website shows glaring examples of idealizing the use of their bottles and artificial nipples. Neither Phillips Avent nor Lamaze International are meeting their obligations under the Code. Professional associations put themselves into a conflict of interest by accepting funding from Code violating companies. Members of Lamaze may wish to contact their organization and ask that the connection to Avent be terminated.
