Dear Lactnet collegues,
I received a call today from a mom that describes a burning pain deep in the breast. Described as shooting but comes and goes. It doesn't happen when she is nursing the baby or even just after a feeding. The weather this time of year in this area is cooler, 30-50's during the morning and at night and as hight as 55-60's during the day. Gets cool enough to frost but not freeze. My thoughts were the changing temperature. I would appreciate any knowledge you can share with me. Please feel free to email me off list. Her baby is 6 wks old. She is not pumping.
