You can use any pattern for a beanie-style cap and just start with the areola
color of your choice, crochet a row or two until the areola is the size you
want, switch to the lighter color you're using for the rest of the breast. I
used a dark mauve-ish color for the areola and a tan color for the rest. After
I made the hat as big as I wanted, I tied that off. Then go back to the darker
color, chain 5 and join, crochet 5-6 half double crochet into the circle then
close and tie off. Attach to the center of the areola with a few whip stitches.
Here's a pattern I just found online, though, with the added bonus of a fabulous
Mama Is... cartoon. ;-)

I have used a similar pattern to make crocheted breasts for use in childbirth
and breastfeeding classes... just have to alter the pattern to make two halves,
one as above and one of just the tan color, then whipstitch together and stuff
with polyfill. :-) I like my self-altered pattern better than the one on the
link, but that's a good starting point to give you the idea. If you'd like to
see pictures of mine, please email me privately. LACTNET doesn't allow image
attachments. :-)
