Ooh, I feel so validated! Like Jean, I often use the word "homogenized"
when I am trying to explain to moms why they **don't** have to be fixating
on foremilk-hindmilk ... andy why they **don't** have to fret when their
expressed milk separates.
We have a convenience store/sandwich shop in my area called WaWa .. I
remind moms that human milk hasn't been "pasteurized and homogenized like
the gallon of [cow's] milk you get at WaWa." That always seems to earn me
that nodding head of comprehension.
(When my first-born son returned home from out-of-state college for the
first time, the food he craved and HAD to have first -- running there at
10pm at night -- was a WaWa Hoagie [big sandwich a.k.a. as a poor boy, or a
hero, or a submarine, or a grinder ...].)
