Well, actually... as per 21st May 2010 it is forbidden by the WHO Code's new
resolution, number 63, which explicitly states this is not allowed.
This is a very important new addition to the Code; check it out at
www.ibfan.org, the Issue, the Code, the Resolutions.
(Not that these claims were ethically okay before this resolution of
course... it's awful...)
Bye,

Subject: [LACTNET] Enfamil commercial???
Has anyone else seen this...did we already talk about it and I missed it? I
was watching TV around 10 PM EST last night and saw an Enfamil commercial,
complete with happy and adorable baby. Its claims were as follows:
“Our new Triple Health Guard is found only in Enfamil Premium. The result of
years of leading edge research, new Enfamil Premium is clinically proven to
promote growth, improve* brain and eye development, and improve* respiratory
and immune system outcomes.”
When did this become okay????
