I must say, I have a "wearable" pump and do recommend them to moms who
have such busy schedules that finding time to pump is difficult. I
think the issue is that moms are not attaching the pumps correctly and
are boosting the suction to attach them to their breasts- thus
compressing the ducts around the areola. This is just my suspicion,
though, not based on fact or research. I don't notice my wearable pump
being any different than the double-electric I used to use.
