Sadly Chris' statement is true, dr may know lots about other things, just
not BF. We all have our favorite things to focus on. On the other hand,
some of what was said is true, if Dr makes wildly inaccurate statements
about BF, s/he was probably sleeping during the BF lecture - what else did
s/he sleep thru? And if a ped who sees a lot of BF babies why isn't s/he
keeping up with BF info? Legitimate Q to ask.

If it is easy to change, just tell him/her why you don't trust his/her
advice and find another dr. If it's not easy to change (as in Chris'
country) then her advice to mom's is perfect.
