All you energetic political activists and also ABM members:
Through various postings, I have come to appreciate what a
serious problem you have. Can I have a reality check? What are
the possibilities of a really drastic reform in the healthcare
system dealing with the birth cycle? Israel has a really
impressive system that I would be willing to share with
interested parties. Unfortunately, like most bureaucracies, it
has its black holes and breastfeeding is one of them. We're
working on that, though, and making some progress mainly because
of the wonderful breakthroughs in other parts of the world like
the US, Canada, Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, etc. Israel
does have the infrastructure, though, which possibly could be
adapted elsewhere to solve the problem of early discharge
followup. Anybody interested? Judy Knopf
