Many of us are in countries that do not have the Code legislated (Australia
is one such country) but our counties are a part of the World Health
Assembly and so have agreed with these resolutions so it is worth writing to
your elected representatives as Liz mentioned asking why mothers are not
being protected from misleading and unethical advertising.

report EVERY violation you see!  Reading the magazine in the dentist's
office .... watching TV at home .... doing your grocery shopping ...
reviewing patient handouts in your facility (should it be
non-Code-compliant).

Fer cryin' out loud -- these are our tax dollars at work.  Help to create a
WRITTEN RECORD of the egregious marketing tactics that are repeatedly slung
at the public at large.  While tsk-tsking the bad guys here on Lactnet does
provide the momentary pleasure of spleen-venting, it is like preaching to
the choir.  Help build a record for the violations.
