i posted here about that part in ponyo when we 1st saw it upon its
release in theatres here, too! wasn't the best part how casual and
matter-of-fact the whole transaction was? all of miyazaki's films
contain elements of attachment parenting and are bfing friendly and my
children prefer them to disney. we have his entire collection. fathers
cobathe w/ their young children, the whole family shares sleep, babies
are worn rather than carried in buckets... you should check out 'my
neighbor totoro' or 'kiki's delivery service' if he loves 'ponyo'!
