Hi Liz,
You miss the point entirely. If one has a specialist problem one asks the
specialist in that area. For example, a general surgeon might be well placed
to do a minor surgical job like an appendectomy but if I had a cancerous
tumour in my jaw I'd want maxilla facial surgeon not a general surgeon. When
it comes to the Code ILCA has a responsibility to support it but they are
not the experts- the experts are ICDC.
