Ligament laxity lasts about a year postpartum (gradually decreasing).
It could easily be that the awkward things we do when having a new
baby, including breastfeeding positions, with increased laxity have
caused her wrist to be injured more easily than pre-pregnancy. I have
found chiropractic care to be useful for all sorts of (seemingly,
though of course everything is connected) non-spinal injuries, like
twisted ankles and wrenched wrists.

Baby is about 8 months and very bonny and chubby. I suggested she make sure she eats well/enough and is careful with movements new since baby was born eg. pad pram handle, extra care when carrying car seat (such awkward big things). I do suspect it is just a case of living in our culture and so breastfeeding blamed for the negatives. However am I missing a hormonal issue due to breastfeeding?
