"Baby does have a high and very narrow palate and unusual amount of
white coating on her tongue. Tongue is flat when she cries, BUT  until 3
weeks ago she was doing quite well –I couldn't blame her tt- it seemed too
simplistic to me. Seems a bit low tone."


You might be able to 'blame' the tongue tie. Sometimes babies with tt do
well until the milk settles down around 5-6 weeks, and then when they
actually have to do the work with their very own tied tongues, they get
extremely upset and frustrated. I am not saying it definitely *is* the
tongue tie, just saying that we can't rule it out on the basis that the tt
wasn't a problem earlier..... I would check more closely.
