Swaddling doesn't work if the arms are free! The point of swaddling is to not let them thrash about, and set off the startle reflex. Swaddling is like everything - just another tool in the tool kit. But the tied to bed by their middle... can't see how that's a tool, ever. :-( Morgan Norma Ritter wrote: > Morgan, at least the baby in the pic had his arms free. > http://www.olivers-baby-care.co.uk/safe-t-sleep-sleepwrap.html?source=googleps > > Believe me, it can be much worse. > For example: > http://www.adviceforbaby.com/swaddling.htm > http://www.thewoombie.com/?gclid=CKvhuv7bi58CFc5L5QodPg9ZJA > http://www.onestepahead.com/product/osa/6629.html > > How on earth can these babies signal hunger, except by screaming? *********************************************** Archives: http://community.lsoft.com/archives/LACTNET.html To reach list owners: [log in to unmask] Mail all list management commands to: [log in to unmask] COMMANDS: 1.
