The mother was told that homemade whey would not cause the same issue and
that casein was the issue. After all your shared input, I put together an
email with relevant issues, and mom has decided not to use this formula. She
just tried Elecare, ( I had provided information on that a week or two
ago) said baby refused it but then drank some the next day when he was really
hungry and too disorganized/miserable to nurse. After that he stooled for
the first time in 7 days, and then went to sleep. She then ate 3
soy-containing cookies...
Thanks again for this amazing network of caring and curious and
super-educated folks. There ain't nothing better than that combination.
