Hi Jaye. I have psoriatic arthritis, a form of rheumatoid arthritis. I would have the mom take the baby in for evaluation. There could be many reasons why a child has a skin reaction, and they need help finding out what is going o. Psoriasis is not catchy, per se, so I doubt that it is an allergic reaction for "both of them."
BUt I am not an allergist or dermatologist. I am curious on what this is...please post the outcome.
