The rights to the service marks "International Board Certified Lactation
Consultant" "Registered Lactatin Consultant" "IBCLC" and "RLC" belong to
IBLCE, your certifying organization. Your IBLCE Code of Ethics tells you
that only certified IBCLCs may use the designations (see Tenet 14; note that
"RLC" is not recognized in some countries).
IBLCE has a nifty logo ... some of us wear it as a lapel pin (I am the Pin
Queen).
If you have earned the credential, you are entitled to list the initials
after your name in your communications and marketing. But if you want to
use the **picture** of the logo, whether in print or on a website, you will
have to seek permission directly from IBLCE.
