Hello Wise Woman of Lactnet:
Has anyone ever heard of a study stating a case of an infant getting Mad Cow Disease from Donor Milk???? A pediatrician at our local hospital is claiming that mad cow is one of a few things that are not removed from the donor milk during the pasteruization process. Milk banks do have vigorous screening processes I know. Anyone have a reference or any information I can use to refute this? I plan to ask the doctor for a reference for her claim. I need something ASAP. Thank you!!
