Goldenrod is developing buds and will be booming soon here as well.

Everything around us is 4 to six weeks ahead of schedule as well...except for soybean blossoms.  All the bean planters got in a bit late or over a a very extended period of time.  The last batch being planted just a week and a half ago.

This has been a very odd season so far.  Our bees have been hauling pollen in since the end of February and white clover is in abundance, I mean EVERYWHERE in the city.

I have no proof of this but I honestly believe that people have simply stopped spraying their lawns in tough times and as a result non-grasses are making a come back.

Our urban apiaries (our out yards stretch into Cincinnati some only 4 miles from downtown) are doing extremely well.
