Personally I've never understood the need for these complicated carrieres where a simple sling (a simple piece of fabric roughly 1x2meter) with a knot does the trick and has been doing so for centuries around the world. Babies can lie or sit on mom's/dad's front, hip or back, can breastfeed, sleep or look around.
