(who was thrilled yesterday to see, as I walked through carrefour's patio furniture section, a mom sitting on a lawn couch with a sleeping or at least drowsy child straddling her lap and resting chest-to-chest, then got closer and realized mom's shirt was unbuttoned and the child (definitely older than toddler age) was nursing! That's only the second "NIP" I've seen in the spanish population here our almost year living in spain. The other was at the weekly outdoor "gypsy market" where a women was sitting in the passenger seat of a pickup truck with the door open and the windows down, with loud spanish music, breastfeeding an older child, next to the stall where her friend/family was selling their products at the market. She was singing loudly and caressing her child and seemed to be having such a lovely time. I wished I'd had my camera with me!!!)
