We are re-teaching the 18 hour BFHI soon. Re: rooming in and safe cosleeping, do any of your hospitals use a specific brand of co-sleeper to attach to the hospital bed? If so, who attaches it, is it safe without disarming the mother's bed remote control, etc. We IBCLCs don't feel this is a necessary gadget, but we need to be armed with options for our nay-saying docs. We don't want babies to be kept in their bassinets in the room.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Amy Peterson, IBCLC
