She is also wondering if there are other 'more natural' things to treat
the symptoms (like gels or something) because she feels like this low
estrogen is her body's way response to bfing/birth and she doesn't want to lessen
that; she just needs help with the discomfort.
~~~Hi all,
I don't know if this is considered "natural" but it's not a compromiser of
milk supply. _Vaginal Atrophy – Atrophic Vaginitis – Instantly
Re-moisturize with Yes_
(http://www.yesyesyes.org/Vaginal_Atrophy1.htm?gclid=CKDvp8r7kKMCFSFN5QodtE66mw) I googled AV and got that. Personally, back when I
started perimenopause and was miserable and it was so painful I had to ride my
bicycle standing, someone recommended Astroglide. I think I can safely say
this saved my sanity ( such as it is at this point...:) It might be
helpful for this mom if she's just looking for local symptomatic relief during
the time she needs it. ( This other organic product was not available then.)
By the way, this was natural life timing perimenopause, and not natural
post-partum hormone shift timing, but I think the result was similar and
hopefully the solution too.
Hope that helps,
Peace,
Judy
