Many members of the IATP (International Affiliation of Tongue-tie 
Professionals) are recommending some stretching of the tongue or 
incision after frenotomy (after the first 24 hours). It can be done gently.

Electrocautery does seem to cause more pain than snipping with a 
scissors or laser. Does the doctor recommend pain relieving medication 
for a few days?
