I like to think of myself as capable, intelligent and internet-savvy.
However I was stalked by a breastmilkfetishist through an internetforum.
I never even proposed to pump for him, I was helpful on a brastfeeding
forum. I got e-mails that upset me and I went to the police. Later the
man was arrested for sexual harrassment as he had actually fooled a
woman into giving him breastmilk. My 'proces verbaal' (the paper the
police makes to document the problem you tell them) was used in court.
I am very much in favour of sharing breastmilk, but either with people
you actaully know (I helped a young mom out with fresh breastmilk), or
through a breastmilk coördinator of some sort. In the Netherlands there
is an mothers milk network which brings together donors and recipients.
Donors and recipients are screened with a questionnaire and donors must
be tested, recipients pay for the costs of the bloodwork.
Those of you who read dutch or use an online translation tool can find
out more on this network here http://www.moedermelknetwerk.nl/
