There were actually two different studies. In the tongue-tie study, 
there were two groups: one that latched deeply but compressed the base 
of the nipple, and one that latched shallowly and compressed the tip of 
the nipple. The shallow latch-ers improved their depth of latch after 
frenotomy, and nipple compression resolved in both groups. The excessive 
negative pressure study was a completely different study.
