I have a mother whose baby was found to be tongue tied and was clipped but not until baby was 6 weeks old because the baby also had signs of cardiac issues so the pediatrician wanted those ruled out before baby went through any added stress. Mom is still having to pump after feeds as he cannot get what he needs from the breast. She has been through the ringer and kept up with baby. We have no PT or OT in the area who works with feeding issues. What can help this little guy learn to nurse again? I have tried several tricks but he just does not pull what he needs. Email as well as post please to [log in to unmask]

Thanks in advance,
Emily Lindsey, BSPsy, IBCLC
