Sharon Jimenez was unable to post this herself due to foibles of new e-mail addresses. Hope others will join me in wishing her well in her new job, and maybe there is someone here just itching for this job herself.

"I have enjoyed learning from all of you. In 4 short months it would
have been 10 years since I started at Apache Diabetes Wellness Center in
the Nurse Educator/Breastfeeding Specialist position. I signed up for
Lactnet at about the same time. I have relied on your advise, though
most of the time I have been only lurking. I will be the Head Nurse for
our local school district. I will be able to provide some breastfeeding
support to pregnant or breastfeeding students or staff and will be able
to help the Community Breastfeeding Counselors I trained here to be able
to continue to expand their skills. I wanted to say good-bye and thank
you. I have learned a lot from you. There will be a nurse
educator/breastfeeding specialist position open, if anyone is interested
in moving to a rural reservation in northeastern Arizona. I would like
to request that anyone who would like to communicate with me do so
through my personal e-mail: [log in to unmask]
With very mixed feelings I am signing off.
Sharon Jimenez, MS, RN, IBCLC
Nurse Educator/Breastfeeding Specialist
Apache Diabetes Wellness Center
White Mountain Apache Tribe
in the beautiful White Mountains of Northeastern Arizona"
