I am surprised that this controversy has not been discussed in any
NICU you've worked in over the past three decades.
No, I'm not surprised, just a little disappointed. And feeling, sadly,
vindicated regarding my intemperate comments about most (NOT all)
neonatologists.

In what way does Neosure or other breast milk fortifier ruin
breastmilk? I have been a Level II NICU nurse for 27 years and was
unaware there was any controversy or contraindication. Maybe not
needed in all cases, but is it really harmful? In the "old days" we
used to use this awful stuff called MCT oil.
