Hi Jessica,

From Hale, Medications and Mothers' milk:
Caffeine probably is not a big problem, especially if the infant is
already a few month old. Occasional use of caffeine is not
contraindicated. The amount per serving red bull, 80 mg is lower than
what you would get from an average cup of coffee. Chronic caffeine use
might lower the iron content of breast milk.

And this is what I found on taurine (askdrsears.com):

One particular amino acid, taurine, is found in large amounts in human
milk. Studies show that taurine has an important role in the development
of the brain and the eyes. The body can't convert other kinds of amino
acids into taurine, so its presence in human milk is significant--so
significant that some formula manufacturers have begun adding it to
artificial baby milks.

The body forms delta-glucurono-gamma-lactone, or glucuronolactone from
glucose. Glucuronolactone is needed in the body for e.g. connective
tissue formation. The precursor of glucuronolactone, glucuronic acid, is
present in plants, particularly in plant rubbers.

From:
http://www.evira.fi/portal/en/food/information_on_food/energy_drinks/stimulant_compounds_in_energy_drinks/

The daily intake of glucuronolactone from nutrition is 1.2-2.3 mg. The
intake of glucuronelactone from energy drinks may be several hundreds of
times higher than from nutrition, as the glucuronolactone content of the
drinks varies between 2000 mg/l and 2400 mg/l.

Dr. Hale's website might can be very helpful with questions on
medications. See: http://neonatal.ttuhsc.edu/cgi-bin/discus
