Also, I'm sure there is info in the archives . I was working with a baby
with chylothorax and was in touch with Trish who was very helpful. Just as
we got our ducks in order to centrifuge the milk the baby's chlyothorax
resolved so we didn't do it, but it is doable. As I remember the biggest issue
was getting the right type of centrifuge.

Hello, I am in a bind, needing any resources available for a hospital
policy to centrifuge breastmilk to skim milk and adding MCT oil in
replacement? This is a baby with a chylothorax, unable to tolerate any
fats other than MCT - medium chain. It is typically treated with
artificial formula that only includes medium chain fats. Does anyone
know of sample policies anywhere? I checked the CPQCC site for
nutrition for VLBW. =20
