We have a policy that says when we give breastmilk and supplement with
formula that we give the breastmilk first and not to mix them. While I
know this to be correct due to the mixing of them causing a decrease
in anti-infective properties and lactoferrin to bind the iron, I
really need some references to convince some of the staff. Does anyone
have any references?
Thanks in advance

Kirstin, Sydney
