Regarding your query about a nursing strike following H1N1
vaccination, I have no experience with this. But ..... when I worked
in private practice in Zimbabwe, I frequently worked with mothers
whose babies were striking - and often following the Hib titre
vaccination. It happened so frequently, in fact, that it seemed to
be much more than a coincidence. I've no idea what the actual cause
was, but definitely a Hib jab within the last 3 days or so seemed to
be a risk factor. I gave the normal recommendations to resolve a
strike (I'll send these to you privately - rather long!) and they all
did resolve in fact, but of course it was very stressful for everyone
until the baby could be enticed back to the breast.

Best wishes
